The weather in Bordeaux in 1989 was ideal for the grapes - a warm, dry summer brought even ripening, the grapes developing full flavor. This case of 1989 Chateau Talbot Bordeaux, still in its original wooden box, will give you and many friends the chance to
taste this fabulous vintage of this famous wine from the St. Julien region of Bordeaux. The wine is elegant, with the flavors carefully blended, a bouquet of black fruits and spices, and a strong finish, even after 30 years. In addition, this lot also has 3 bottles of 1986
Cos d' Estournel from the St. Estephe region of
Bordeaux. Rated 95 points by Robert Parker, the Cos d'Estournel has a lovely bouquet of mint and juniper berries, and then a taste of spice and black fruit, with beautiful balance. And for after dinner, there is one bottle Warre's 1963 Vintage Port, from Portugal. 1973
was one of the great vintages of the century, and the Warre's 1963 is an incredible port, which has aged beautifully, is perfect for drinking now.
