1Give your high school student access to a unique opportunity to develop critical thinking skills while exploring relevant real-world issues with The Research Pod.
The Research Pod program was launched to fill in the gap in high school research-based writing skills and teach motivated students the needed skills to make high-level intellectual connections and become more effective writers to develop their own ideas and help change the world.
Winner will receive registration for one high school student for this summer's "Affordable Housing, ADU & Tiny Houses" track, a one-of-a-kind research and presentation opportunity. This track will investigate two multiple issues of the housing shortage in California. Students who are interested in design, law & policy, social issues, and financing will be a good match for this track.
Fair market value of this track: $1,800
WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
The Research Pod programs are designed for 9th to 12th High School students who are interested in independent work with an industry research advisor. This is a rigorous program and students will develop the critical thinking skills required to write a higher-level subject commentary. This program will be offered in the 2022 Summer Session from 06/12 - 07/25.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- High school student must commit to all weeks of the program which runs from June 12 - July 25, 2022.
