The winning bidder will receive a Lake Series photograph of their choosing during a studio visit to be arranged at a mutually agreeable time.

The photograph will be: Size: 30" x 22.5" photograph, frame dimensions 35" x 28"
Standard frame is hand wash maple with UV museum glass.
Printing/framing lead time is 6 weeks.

Lake Series information:

Beginning in September of 2015 artist Lincoln Schatz began taking lake pictures. Dedicating a month to photographing the lake each day in morning or evening.

These daily trips to photograph the lake continued past that first month. One month became two, two became three and seven years later, this project continues.

Those first lake photos are now the foundations of the Lake Series, a serial exploration of the landscape of Lake Michigan through photography.

Schatz has spent the last seven years carefully studying this landscape. His back to the city of Chicago as he stands on the lake's shore. Schatz shoots with a medium-format camera, capturing the lake waters that stretch away from him to the horizon line.
