Scotch Directly from Scotland's Oldest Independent Bottler

William Cadenhead's Ltd is Scotland's oldest independent bottler, founded in Aberdeen in 1842, and been based in Campbeltown since 1972.

These bottles of Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky can only be purchased from one of Cadenhead's small shops in the UK, with these particular bottles being specifically in Edinburgh. Each of these bottlings are one of fewer than 300 bottles in the world.

Cadenhead procures casks from some of the most famous distilleries (and some you have never heard of) and specializes in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

We have chosen one from the four most famous whisky regions (and distilleries) of Scotland and included the official tasting notes:
Lowlands - Auchentoshan, 10yo, 55.6% ABV

- Nose - Lemon zest, sherbert, flat cola
- Flavor - Cooking apples, peach yogurt, pineapple and grapefruit juice
- Finish - Pear drops, sour apples sweets, tangerines
Highlands - Royal Brackla 12yo, 55.7% ABV

- Nose - Marzipan, cookie dough, and coffee beans, becoming lighter with marshmallows and honeycombs.
- Flavor - Quite herbal, fennel, lemon thyme and a touch of spearmint. Apple skins and soft brown sugar.
- Finish - Faint spice, almond butter and lemon meringue pie
Speyside - Glenrothes, 18yo, 51.7% ABV

- Nose - Light and creamy, with custard creams and bourbon biscuits
- Flavor - Macadamia nuts, light chocolate notes with honey and pine needles
- Finish - Brown sugar, butterscotch and rich dark chocolate
Islay - Bunnahabhain, 10yo, 58.9% ABV

- Flavor - Waxy coating, ripe gooseberries and a touch of spice
- Finish - Dark cocoa powder, maritime notes - seaweed
