0This is your opportunity to own an azalea grown in Landon's famous gardens for 3-4 years. "Fuji Manyo" (a/k/a "Fujimanyo") is an Evergreen azalea and has long been a focal point in Japanese gardens. This variety was originally cultivated in the Kawachi Province, Japan (now near the eastern part of modern Osaka Prefecture). Fuji Manyo was first exhibited in the United States in 1839.
The unique petals are rosy purple in color and bloom as fragrant double or semi-double flowers. Fuji Manyo blooms in April to May.
On campus, this beauty has thrived in filtered to partial sun and in evenly moist, well-drained acidic soil.
Landon's expert grounds crew will carefully extract the azalea and wrap the root ball in burlap ensuring safe travel to its new home.
