Jamie Wells, an artist and activist living in Ventura, California, received her artistic training from the Rhode Island School of Design, and ever since, she has been creating private and public art. Chevron, one of her commercial clients, commissioned Jamie and her team of artists to produce a huge fine art installation for their public art collection in Houston, Texas. Other art projects can be found in hospitals, such as the Texas Children's epilepsy wing, the Breast and Bone Center, and St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. You can find her artwork in Houston's Hobby Airport, Pappasito's, Pappas Brothers, Town Lake, and in hotels across the country.

Over the last 20 years, Jamie has been invited to create Live Art paintings for events all across the country to help raise funds for organizations that are doing great works of love and helping those in need. Jamie starts a painting at the beginning of the event and in (1-2 hours) completes her bold gestured painting based on the theme of the event. The evening's concluding moment is a grand finale with a Live Auction of the painting. Over the years Jamie's Live Art paintings have helped raise over $200,000 from auction proceeds.
