Dr. Jill Goldman is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (CAAB) and a court qualified animal behavior expert. She was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At five years old she knew she related to animals (perhaps better than people), and by 13 she decided to become an animal behaviorist (despite it being a non existent mainstream career path at the time).

Her knowledge of animals is vast - from monkeys, to wolves, dogs, cats, and exotics in clinical, zoo, shelter and rescue organization settings. Dr. Goldman has assisted animals to live the best lives in their environments or with people.

Over the course of her academic and professional experiences, and the many animals she has had the pleasure to meet, Dr. Goldman has learned that if there is one thing for sure...it is that every single animal is unique and deserves to be treated as such. Each species, and each individual in that species experiences and interacts with the world through their own unique sensory system and past conditioning. To treat an individual with a cookie cutter approach is deny that individual the qualities that make them special. Dr. Goldman treats each case by working to understand the situation from the animal's perspective (Umwelt (o?omvelt): The world as it is experienced by a particular organism.), and using science and ethics to improve the lives of animals and people.
