History buffs and dog lovers alike will appreciate these two 24.5"h x 32.5"w prints of Louis XIV's dogs. The two paintings were done by François Desportes, who was perhaps one of the first French painters to have made animals and hunting the main subjects of his work. Both "Folle et Mitte" and "Diane et Blonde" prints are uniquely copperplate engraved by the Chalcographie du Louvre.
