This Liberty Head $20 Gold piece is a true piece of history when gold was the financial standard of the United States. This Uncirculated gold coin has both numismatic and commodity value. The numismatic value from the Dealer Gray Sheet is $2,365 and the gold commodity value is approximately $1,950. It is a true collector's opportunity. This Double Eagle was designed by James B. Longacre and was in production from 1849 - 1907. It weighs 33.436 troy grams, has a diameter of 34mm and is 90% pure gold (0.9675 troy oz of pure gold) and 10% copper.
