The Albatross D. Va was a formidable German fighter which appeared in combat during WWI in the fall of 1917. Only two aircraft survive today. Restored in its original markings the Albatross D.Va No. 7161/17 is part of the National Air and Space Museum
The 4-square inch swatch of the original fabric included with this relic print was preserved when the Smithsonian restored the ALBATROS D.Va before installing it in the permanent collection of the National Air and Space Museum where it can be seen today.
Included with your Albatros D.Va relic print is a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the National Air and Space Museum
