LI View From Space- Signed by Astronaut Terry Hart

In this Photograph you get an amazing view of Long Island from space aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger during the mission STS-41-C (formerly STS-13) from April 6th 1984 to April 13th 1984 in which Terry Hart was apart of.

Terry J. Hart (born 1946) was selected by NASA in 1978 for astronaut training. Already an Air Force pilot, he had been flying F-106 interceptors for the Air Defense Command. After training, Hart served as Ascent and Orbit CAPCOM with the Mission Control Team for STS-1, STS-2, STS-3 and STS-7 and flew as a Mission Specialist on STS-41-C (April 6-13, 1984). Hart is a recipient of the National Defense Metal, the NASA Space Flight Metal and retired from USAF as Lieutenant Colonel.
