This is an incredible auction item that any serious golfer would love! Mario Nanos--the President of FAN's Washtenaw County chapter--is donating a round of golf for 3 at the historic Oakmont Country Club in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Oakmont was created in 1903 and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987. The course is perennially rated by experts like Golf Digest and GolfLink.com as one of the best and most difficult golf courses in the United States. Oakmont's hallowed grounds have hosted 9 U.S. Opens (more than any other course), 3 PGA Championships, 2 U.S. Women's Opens, 3 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships, and 5 U.S. Amateur Championships, including the 2021 championship, won by Michigan State University golfer James Piot!

A signature feature of Oakmont is its notorious "Church Pews" bunker, one of golf's most legendary hazards. Measuring approximately 100 by 40 yards, it comes into play on both the 3rd and 4th holes and gets its name from its 12 grass-covered, traversing ridges that resemble church pews.

Winning bidder will be entitled to a round of golf for 3 people at Oakmont Country Club. The 4th person in the foursome will be an Oakmont club member. The round is to be scheduled on a date in 2022 that works mutually for Mario, the Oakmont club member, and the winning bidder's party. Includes food & drinks after the round. Does NOT include transportation to/from Oakmont or accommodations.)

If you golf, it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
