Welcome to Erik's Ranch & Retreats. A solution that was born out of love. And need. We proudly offer a first-of-its kind living, working and social environment for young adults with autism. What sets Erik's Ranch & Retreats apart is that these young adults operate the boutique-style guest accommodations at our two locations in Minnesota and Montana.
The annual gala is an opportunity to celebrate the individual accomplishments and progress of one of our members, allowing him/her to feel the warmth of the spotlight and shine bright as the star of the show. We're excited to announce that this year's featured member will be none other than our organization's namesake, Erik Nordberg. Erik's passion for the great outdoors, horseback riding and an active lifestyle helped lay the groundwork for our mission. Our vision was to create a place where Erik and others would have the necessary support to follow their dreams. More than ten years later, our vision has come to fruition and many of those dreams have come true. Join us as we celebrate Erik and his 30th birthday AND the everyday, behind-the-scenes heroes - life coaches, therapists, teachers and more - who have helped him thrive throughout his life.
The virtual gala will be Saturday, October 9, 2021, with the presentation beginning at 7:00PM CST and ending at 8:00PM CST. Throughout the evening, guests will learn more about our mission and opportunities for staying and/or volunteering at one of our properties, get to know several of the young adults who live with us, and participate in an online auction which will close at 8:30PM CST.

The Annual An Evening With... event is our largest fundraiser of the year. We celebrated many successes for our members in 2021 and watched them grow in countless ways. Yet the global pandemic has continued to impact tourism at our Minnesota Retreat, making it difficult to financially sustain our mission. By making a donation, you ensure our members continue to have the resources they need to flourish and lead rewarding lives on their own terms.
