About the Artist:

Every single art piece tells a story, a puzzle planted with clues and hidden meaning that the viewers are invited to dive in and discover on their own terms. What drive these stories to be told is finding purpose in life which has been "the eternal gauntlet of the artist in every country, culture, and civilization since the human hunger for truth and beauty first collided with the craving for power." But also, my intent is to challenge perceptions, reveal a different side of the same coin, or simply entertain the viewer visually and intellectually.

I'm especially intrigued by obscure personalities in the world scene that have not gotten the exposure they potentially deserve. I want to bring them back to the light; I want them to be re-discovered, their stories told once more, and along the way, I am hoping a certain richness will be added to the observers' own existence and perhaps facilitate a self-discovery of sorts.

Most of the figures appearing in my art are world-famous personalities from science, politics, arts, sports, and entertainment. Still, you may also encounter less known yet equally brilliant human specimens such as Shirley Chisholm, Vivien Leigh, Benjamin Disraeli, Alekos Panagoulis, Oriana Fallaci, Jacqui Oatley, Konstantinos Kavafis, Marchesa Luisa Casati, Viktor Frankl, and Marlene Dietrich. All of them supreme global figures brought about political, cultural, and socioeconomic changes that forever shaped the reality we all today experience.
