SpartyBall 2022: 16 years in the Windy City!

SpartyBall 2022 is the Chicago Spartans annual event that is a celebration of all things Michigan State, bringing together alumni and friends of all ages from across the country for an evening of food, fun, and philanthropy. Over the last fifteen years, the Chicago Spartans have built SpartyBall into the very best Sparty Party Around.

This year's theme is the Roaring Twenties, the period in history known for America's rapid period of growth, culture, and lifestyle, associated with celebrations, unity and togetherness. Similarly, throughout all events that have impacted the Spartan Community since SpartyBall 2020, they have remained loyal, innovative, inclusive, and united. Our integrity and creativity have led Spartans to large accomplishments in research, academics, athletics, and has allowed the Spartan Community to continue to grow and stay connected. As the Chicago Spartan community reunites on April 9th, we have the opportunity to create a better tomorrow for future Chicagoland Spartans, and celebrate our growth over the past, and present, setting the tone for the future.   

Proceeds from the event supports four endowed scholarships the Chicago Spartans hosts at Michigan State University. These scholarships provide qualified students in the Chicagoland area with an opportunity to attend Michigan State University by helping to offset the costs associated with tuition and other academic needs.

The Chicago Spartans are pleased to welcome adult guests to an evening celebrating the strength of the Spartan community at The Old Post Office, a beautiful and unique venue that recently underwent an $800 million restoration project. We are pleased to invite you to this special event featuring:

• Lively and entertaining music and other special performances including the MSU Pom Pon Team
• Premium open bar featuring products from our sponsors
• Delicious cuisine
• Exciting silent auction packages
• The event begins at 7:00 P.M. A VIP Reception, including a champagne toast and special MSU guest appearances begin at 6:00 P.M. A limited number of VIP tickets is available.

 
Perhaps most importantly, as a fundraiser for our endowed scholarships, SpartyBall is a chance to give back the gift that each of us has received - a world class education from Michigan State University.

In order to keep everyone safe, all SpartyBall 2022 attendees must comply with the following COVID health and safety rules in order to attend the event:

• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination - if you have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to SpartyBall 2022, you must bring your vaccination card (or photo of it) and a photo ID with you to check in to the event
• Proof of negative COVID test - if you haven't been vaccinated or received your second shot within 14 days before SpartyBall 2022, you please (i) must have a PCR COVID test with negative results done within 72 hours before attending SpartyBall 2022 from a medical professional (no at-home testing will be accepted) and (ii) must bring proof of that negative COVID test, along with a photo ID with you to check in to the event.

In the interest of ensuring the safety of all guests, vendors, and venue employees, no one will be admitted to SpartyBall 2022 without proof of full vaccination or a negative test.

No refunds will be given for unused tickets due to not complying with the above COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
