At the beginning of 2021, the Trek Project One Painters held a paint competition for bragging rights, but to also help raise funds for organizations that are changing the world by getting more people on bikes.

The Honey Honey Bike was hand painted by Kim Cote, Trek employee for 16 years. This is a unique, and truly 'one-of-a-kind' frame, sold 'as-is'.

About Kim's bike:

'Just like life on Earth needs bees, you need this custom painted 56cm Madone frame. Project one Painter Kimberly Cote masterfully created a honeycomb look by creating a custom color that matches the wildflower honeycomb from her family's beehives. In addition, there are real life looking honeybees and a one-of-a-kind hand painted woodgrain Trek logo on the downtube. You think it looks beautiful now? Just wait until you see it in the sun. Over the Era white color is a gold tone pearl coat that will shimmer like dew drops on grass in the golden sun rays.'

• Main Frame/fork/seatmast. The main frame is a Trek Madone SLR Model Year 2019, disc brake. (Frame is made of 700 OCLV carbon fiber)
• Bontrager XXX6 Carbon wheels (these rims have very minor blemishes on them, they are 100% rideable) Front hub is Trek part 566909-00 DSB AEO 12T 24. Rear hub is Trek part 535762-00 DSB BNT 142 24H. Tires are Bontrager R3 700x25 hard case lite. NO rim strips or tubes are included.
• Front axel, 12x122.5 M12-1.75x10.5
• Rear axel, 12x165 M12-1.75x22
• Seat post, 25mm SHORT
• Headset compression plug, bearings, and split ring
• 3 x 15mm SLR headset spacers
• Trek Madone Low Fit SLR Stem 110mm x 15 degrees

All frames were accidently decaled with an 800 OCLV decal, these frames are 700 OCLV. As a reminder, the frames are sold as-is, with no refunds.
