Learn how to become a beekeeper and grow your hive or make jam all while sampling an assortment of Chick-a-Bee Farm's exotic jams and honey. This fun and exciting experience from Chick-a-Bee Farm includes:

  • One 1-hour private Zoom class on Basic Bee Keeping 101 or Jam Making 101 (you may choose)
  • One 8-oz Hunker Down Pepper Jam with homegrown peppers from Chick-a-Bee Farm
  • One 8-oz Pineapple Jam, which is like "Sunshine on Your Toast", made with locally sourced fresh pineapple. This is one of our more popular jams!
  • One 8-oz Blackberry jam made with locally sourced fresh fruit
  • One 8-oz seasonal flavor jam made with locally sourced fresh fruit
  • Two large honey jars with honey spoons, made by our bees at Chick-a-Bee Farm
  • Assortment of fine teas
  • Vintage Allyn Nelson Collection Fine Bone China tea pot, cup, and saucer
  • A beautiful plate for serving

This deluxe Chick-A-Bee Farm Basket includes four 8-ounce homemade jams made here at Chick-A-Bee Farms with locally sourced fresh fruit and with the peppers being grown on our farm. The basket also includes 2 large honeys with 2 honey spoons, which are crafted by our bees here at Chick-A-Bee. The regular honey has a citrus flavor and the darker honey is bold and is considered as wild flower honey. Both are delicious! The basket also includes an assortment of fine teas as well as a beautiful vintage Allyn Nelson Collection Fine Bone China tea pot, cup and saucer and a beautiful plate to serve your crackers with cream cheese and jam.

The one-on-one Zoom class comes 1 full hour of instruction with your choice of Jam Making 101 or Basic Bee Keeping 101. For the Jam Making 101 class, you will learn what the basic tools and other items you will need and the basics on how to cook and prepare your jam and how to successfully can your jam to preserve it safely. For the Basic Bee Keeping 101 class, you will learn what is the proper attire, bee safety, and equipment needed to start your first hive as well as basics on essential bee keeping such as how to spot a queen bee and why she is the essential key to a successful growing hive.
