This 400-acre private hunting ranch nestled in rolling black belt prairie just south of Birmingham is rich in heritage and tradition and boasts a thriving population of native game including Trophy Whitetail Deer, Bob White Quail, dove, turkey, and wild hogs exclusively managed for game for the last 20 years.

Your home away from home for the duration of your hunting trip is an impressive five-bedroom, four-bathroom estate home located within the ranch. Boasting a fully equipped chef's kitchen, large open floor plan, and outdoor pool, this hunting lodge is perfect for any hunting party or family.

Arrive at this hunter's paradise and enjoy an afternoon of Alabama Whitetail buck hunting before returning to the lodge for a steak dinner prepared by the friendly Covey Run Lodge staff and paired with wine. The next morning, start your day off right with breakfast prepared in-house before embarking on a morning quail hunt on the managed fields of millet and sorghum that make for explosive covey rises. Return for a catered Southern-style barbecue lunch before participating in a lively afternoon private skeet shoot competition at Dream Lake Clays, Alabama's first-class skeet facility. RESTRICTIONS: Advanced reservations and type of hunt requested must be made 45 days in advance. Based upon availability and mutually agreeable dates between November and February to comply with Alabama quail and deer season. Hunting licenses and gratuity are not included. All hunters over the age of 16 must have a valid Alabama hunting license to participate. Expires March 1, 2023.
