Elise holds 20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedics, sports and dance medicine. She was a physical therapist for the Charlotte Ballet for 13 years and has provided care for many Broadway shows including Book of Mormon, Cinderella, So You Think You Can Dance, Annie and Mary Poppins, among others. Whether treating a young dancer or a geriatric patient, she emphasizes listening to the patient carefully and completing a thorough evaluation to correctly determine the root cause of injury. She utilizes manual therapy (soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization) and therapeutic exercise in her treatment approach.
