Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely considered the most prestigious. In 1877, the inaugural Lawn Tennis Championship was held at what was then known as the All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club. Known now as simply "Wimbledon", this spectacular event is the only Grand Slam still played on grass. The tournament takes place over two weeks in July, and the tennis world's focus comes to London and the tournament most players only dream of winning.
Every year, strawberries and cream dominates as the fan favorite snack, with more than 7,000 liters of fresh cream topping 150,000 servings of fresh English strawberries. It is believed that King George V first brought strawberries and cream to Wimbledon in the early 1900's. The reason? Strawberries were the only fruit available at the time and apparently very fashionable to eat.

Tennis in July at Wimbledon is truly breath-taking and an experience everyone should have the opportunity to witness. There can be nearly 40,000 spectators in the grounds during Wimbledon, but you will be enjoying the view from your Centre Court Debenture seat.

Wimbledon Championships

Enjoy two Centre Court Debenture tickets for the Men's Singles Finals in July (date to be announced), as well as access to other Centre Court matches on that day. The Centre Court is the main show at Wimbledon - this is where the biggest matches are played. Debenture tickets are the best tickets available within the Centre Court stadium, with seating around the stadium, located in the front rows of the first tier.
