"Marley was dead, to begin with: A Christmas Carol told again" presented by Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre. 4 VIP tickets (buyer will be seated in seats named by James Weis in The Kennesaw State Dance Theatre on Saturday, December 11th at 8 PM
"Marley was dead, to begin with.", the first and arguably the most important sentence of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. This must be understood, or nothing wonderful can come of the tale that follows. In this spooky yet comical telling of Dickens' story, we follow his lead on how important Scrooge's business partner Marley is to the narrative. The spirits conduct the two lifelong friends through an opportunity to reflect on the decisions they made together along the way. A new perspective on the familiar trying journey that further explores the themes of compassion, generosity, and redemption present in the original. But for now, it must be repeated once more, emphatically, that Marley was as dead as a door-nail.
?"Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead, but if the courses be departed from?"
