Enjoy $100 towards your next experience at The ArtsCenter!

The ArtsCenter (TAC) exists in order to educate and inspire artistic creativity and to enrich the lives of people of all ages. Enjoy this gift certificate that can be used towards tickets for performances, ArtSchool classes, workshops, ArtsCamp, and AfterSchool.

In just a few months, The ArtsCenter will relocate to a newly-remodeled, state-of-the-art facility at 400 Roberson Street ushering in the next 50 years. The new ArtsCenter will be a landmark of creative expression nestled within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, the new Orange County library and more. With plenty of parking, we'll be able to even better serve the visitors from all 100 NC counties and beyond, allowing tourists and locals alike to "make a day of it" when visiting The ArtsCenter and exploring all that Carrboro has to offer. Proximity to The Libba Cotten Trail, bike paths and pocket parks will provide a natural backdrop and a creative muse.

In addition to our existing studio spaces, the new ArtsCenter will also house three makerspaces where local residents of all ages and backgrounds will have the opportunity to learn new skills and expand their artistic capacity. Community members will have the opportunity to forge new relationships with other artists, foster mentorships and develop cross-cultural understandings.

The Youth Education Center will occupy a large portion of the building and will include the STEAM Lab where students of all ages will have access to cutting edge technologies, materials, mentors and inspiration.

The Technology Center will allow artists to enhance their craft with next-generation audio and video technologies including green screens, video projectors and large monitors.

The Fiber Arts Lab is where fiber artists will have access to equipment which would otherwise be cost-prohibitive. Artisans will be able to enrich their craft through the use of industrial sewing machines, laser cutters, sewing tables and digital fabric printers.
