Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hold an Owl on your glove, or better yet fly a Hawk to your glove? Have you wondered what it would be like to train a bird? Are birds even smart enough to train? Come help Lindsey and Simon McNeny, of Window to the Wild, train some of their Bird Ambassadors.

Window To The Wild will be holding daily 2 hour sessions (from 9:30-11:30am) of educational fun, where you will not only learn about our beautiful birds you will also help train some natural behaviors.

For ages 12 and up, each experience will be different because we train all our birds using Positive Reinforcement. This means that we ask them to do what they do naturally, we never force them. For example, all birds love to fly so when we ask our Hawk to fly to our glove he is rewarded. When he flies to the tree behind us, he misses out on his favorite treat!
