Emily Orsich is a self-taught artist living in Canton, Ohio. Emily's passion for art and creativity has been a part of her identity since a young age. She utilizes her artwork as a mode of self expression, each representing a piece of herself. The mediums she commonly utilizes are acrylic and watercolor paint, oil pastels, and graphite. Her attraction to light and dark is evident through her work, as well as her ability to create movement. Emily is also drawn to texture and enjoys finding ways to implement it within her pieces.

Emily is able to bring a sense of authenticity to her work, as she believes that "human connection is innate and while it may not be able to be verbalized, it can be seen and felt through art." As a self-taught artist, Emily does not put any restrictions on herself during the creative process, it comes in waves and pours out when the moment is right.
