J. Geils Band's 1973 tour stop in Akron came along less than a year after the release of the totally rockin' and bluesy album, "Live Full House." The show included classics like "Ain't Nothin' but a House Party," "Whammer Jammer," "Give It to Me," "Serve You Right to Suffer" and "Lookin' for a Love." (Who can forget this classic J. Geils burn? "Serve you right to suffer, baby. Serve you right. You're gonna live aloooone." Ow!)
