A throwback to where my work started. Landscapes, mountains, and nature were the foundation of how I began exploring watercolor. I have always loved the mountains, and there is something so intriguing and mysterious about them. They represent different things for different people - obstacles, something to overcome, a welcomed challenge, or simply a place to experience solitude. So what do they mean to you?

Bio: Local artist, Kirby Romines, was born and raised in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was inspired to pick up a watercolor brush in 2015 and has been exploring the medium ever since. In 2020, Kirby painted a temporary mural exhibit in Downtown Bentonville at the Improv Lab, where she painted her favorite Bentonville Icons, including the Spark Cafe, Crystal Bridges, the Bentonville Water Tower, and several other locations. These local icons are also a frequent focus in her work.

Kirby has a passion for creating art that brings sentimental value and personality into the viewer's life. Kirby's art combines her love for landscapes, her home, and a minimalistic look. Kirby currently creates custom orders and has paintings in a couple of local storefronts.
