Kurt Niemackl from Lenexa, KS is an Ironman triathlete, meaning he competes in a race of swimming, biking and running after months of training. During that training and competition, he needs to fuel his body with nutritious, whole grain, all natural ingredients (no preservatives). He didn't like what he found on the market so he made his own nutrition bars, and then shared with his fellow athletes. They liked them so much they encouraged him to sell the bars in athletic and local bike stores so he researched better production and packaging options.

He now operates a small commercial kitchen and packaging facility in Lenexa, selling and shipping what he loves, eight different flavors of that same nutrition bar called Kurt's Bar.

Athletes locally and worldwide enjoy this nutrition. In fact, it was recently used in the 2022 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in October which Kurt was honored to attend and hand out the bars.
