About the Artist

Melissa Orsini began working with her hands as a young child to create unique, artistic expressions. Later, she discovered stringing beads which ignited her love affair with jewels, one that carries over to the art she creates today.

Her work includes precious and semi-precious stones that are sourced from around the world, set and woven into her intricate, handcrafted pieces. A true student of her craft, Melissa frequently travels the country learning advanced jewelry-making techniques from the best in her industry.

Melissa can be found teaching classes and workshops at her Hillcrest studio in Little Rock, Arkansas. Melissa has also taught at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, serving as an instructor in the Jewelry and Small Metals department.
