About the Item

A demonstration piece. A large rectangular paddle-like form is hammered out from the parent stock of a mild steel square tube (structural grade tube). The mild steel tube has been reduced in width to a narrowed "neck", above which are four abstracted faces. The faces are crowned by a ridged fan-shape giving the suggestion of hair. At a later date, a flat base was added to allow the piece to stand upright.

28" x 5.3"

About the Artist
