About the Artist

James Malenda's work transcends categories as he explores traditional subject matter using a highly inventive approach to process, materials, and formats. James taught fine metals and enameling for 40 years. His work is in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Design (NYC), the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
