Cherish the return of Free Shakespeare in the Park and our 2021 Annual Gala with three magnificent illustrations of MERRY WIVES, sketched and signed by the award-winning art director and illustrator Joan Chiverton. Hang this artwork from the show in your home to transport you back to The Delacorte Theater in Central Park throughout the year!

Joan has spent most of her life drawing New York City, people, performers and musicians. Throughout her career, Joan's work has appeared in the NYTimes, The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Magazine, Technical Analysis, Manhattan Magazine and NY Press. She has worked with Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Freihofer's, McDonald's, United Way, Tri City Rentals, Capital Repertory Company, Capital Region Magazine, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, NYS Writers Institute, Intermagnetics, McCann Erickson, Y&R and the MTA.

Joan is the in-house artist at City Winery, Greenwich House Music School, and Music on the Inside, sketching their events on location as they happen. She also works with Joe's Pub, Bryant Park and was honored to be asked to document performances at Restart Stages at Lincoln Center this summer.

Along with drawing and painting, Joan produces etchings. Her etchings are sold at The Old Print Shop, NYC. One of Joan's etchings of Ron Carter was recently selected and purchased by the National Portrait Gallery in DC to add to their collection. Exhibitions include: The Society of Illustrators, US Air Force, Pen and Brush, SVA, Society of Publication Designers, Spot Illustration Annual, Mehu Gallery, NJCU, Incorporation of Artists on the Move, Curate New York 2013, Taller Boricua Gallery, Jazz Textures, JVC Jazz Festival, Manhattan Borough Presidents Office, Mood Indigo, Citibank Choices, Challenges & Triumphs, Sacred Gallery, Monmouth Museum, SJCC, National Veterans' Art Museum.

Joan has taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Bard Graduate Center and Harbor VA Hospital.

Illustrations are 11 x 15 inches used with pen and ink with watercolor on stonehenge watercolor paper. Item must be redeemed by September 20, 2022. Item cannot be resold or re-auctioned.
