New Day Ranch Boots & Bourbon Gala FAQs:
Q: Remind me again of the location?
A: This year's event kicks off at 6:30PM at the Boone County Distilling Event Center in Independence, KY.
Q: What's the parking situation?
A: There's plenty of onsite parking! Several handicap spots are located just outside the event center doors, and regular spots run from the event center down past the distillery entrance and wrap around to the back of the building. You won't have any issues getting a spot!
Q: What should I wear?
A: No black tie attire for this shindig! In past years, most folks have worn blue jeans, flannel shirts, sweaters, or casual dresses. And of course, donning your favorite cowboy hat and boots is encouraged!
Q: What type of food will be served?
A: Garnish Catering has prepared an incredible array of hors d'oeuvres and food station offerings, many of which have bourbon-themed accents. We've made sure there are options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free guests - if you're not sure what you can eat for your specific dietary needs, the catering staff will be happy to help guide you. And don't miss the flaming donuts for dessert!
Q: What about drinks?
A: Your event ticket comes with 2 drink tokens that can be redeemed for beer, wine, or liquor. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages (water, tea, soda) are complimentary.
Q: Will there be music?
A: Of course! We have Velvet Soul lined up for some fantastic acoustic music throughout the evening.
Q: Is there assigned seating?
A: Since there isn't a seated dinner, we don't have assigned seating! We'll have both traditional tables/chairs and high-top tables available for guests to use for eating, mingling, or simply resting their feet for a bit. The outdoor patio will also be open (with casual seating) for enjoying the unseasonably warm weather and listening to Velvet Soul!
Q: Can I still buy tickets?
A: Only until 12 noon on Saturday, 10/22! So don't delay - click below to reserve your spot at the gala, and we'll see you Saturday evening!
OLD CHARTER OAK BOURBON RAFFLE
Win an entire flight (4 bottles) of Old Charter Oak Bourbon! First introduced by Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2018, Old Charter Oak is rarely produced and nearly impossible to find "in the wild" - for purchase or for tasting! NEW Event Features This Year
GUIDED BOURBON TASTING
The Boone County Distilling team is opening their incredibly cool Barrel Room to New Day Ranch for a guided bourbon tasting. Built in the shape of an actual bourbon barrel, this one-of-a-kind room is stocked with the finest Boone County Distilling Company spirits - which you'll get to sample if you purchase a tasting add-on ticket ($50). Each tasting is limited to 24 participants, and we are only offering them at 6PM and 6:30PM. Each tasting participant will also receive a souvenir miniature bottle of bourbon with a commemorative Boots & Bourbon label on it!
NEW DAY RANCH OPEN HOUSE "AFTERPARTY"
For event guests who still want to experience New Day Ranch and the amazing animals who make our programs so unique, we're holding a New Day Ranch Open House on Saturday, October 29 from 1-4PM. Think of it as an "afterparty" but one week later and at a more reasonable time. ;) Gala ticket holders can drop by at their convenience during the Open House time range to enjoy barn and petting zoo tours, animal encounters, and complimentary light hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. RSVPs are required so we can adequately plan food and beverage needs.
PARTY FAVORS!
Add a fun addition to your home bar when you purchase a commemorative bottle of Boone County Distilling's award-winning bourbon cream ($40) or a miniature bottle of their bourbon ($10)! Each purchase supports New Day Ranch and comes with a custom New Day Ranch label.
