Registration is required to purchase tickets online and participate in the silent auction. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 361-855-2213, or at the KEDT Studio, 3205 S. Staples St., Corpus Christi, TX 78411. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door the night of the event. 

The KEDT Classic Brew presented by H-E-B is back in action! Join us for a
one-of-a-kind experience, in support of KEDT and educational programming.
Join us Thursday, October 28th, starting at 7pm! We are so excited to see
everyone!

Who: PBS Station KEDT-TV, your community-owned station

What: The 2021 KEDT Classic Brew, presented by H-E-B - is an
annual international beer tasting, featuring a huge selection of imported and domestic
beers for guests to sample from commemorative pilsner glasses, while
enjoying the best South Texas cuisine from area restaurants. Guests will
also enjoy music, a photo booth and silent auction of exciting
collectable beer merchandise and one-of-a-kind items. Water and
non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Dress code is fun casual.
Wear your shorts and flip-flops!

continuation of favorite programs viewers expect from public broadcasting
like, NOVA, Austin City Limits, This Old House and Curious George as well as
radio programs such as Morning Edition, Fresh Air and All Things
Considered. KEDT also airs many more original documentaries and programs
that focus on education, the arts and entertainment.

Get in 1 hr early! Early Access enjoys H-E-B SoFlo pizza w/ beer provided by the local breweries not at the main event! Breweries include - Javelina Watering Hole Brewing, Nueces Brewing, Lazy Beach Brewing., Lorelei Brewing , and Rebel Toad Brewing. All of this plus the Main Event! 

MAIN EVENT - 7pm $60

Get access to a huge selection of craft beers & local restaurants. Find a new favorite beer and a new restaurant from the Coastal Bend. You also get live music & silent auction. 

Silent Auction

You must be registered on the event website to participate in the silent auction. You do not have to physically attend the Classic Brew to participate and bid.  

 
**Important Payment & Pick Up Info**

The credit card listed on account registration will be charged when auction closes. NO cash or checks will be accepted. 

 
Any items not collected at the Classic Brew event will be available for pick up at KEDT Studio, 3205 S. Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. KEDT will contact the winners of items not collected the night of the event. Items can be collected on Tuesday November 2nd and Wednesday November 3rd during normal business hours (8am - 5pm).  If the item is a certificate, it can be mailed to the address listed on account registration. Any items or certificates not claimed after 30 days, will be relinquished by the buyer and the funds become a donation to the station.

What is the KEDT Classic Brew?

The KEDT Classic Brew is a fun way to enjoy craft beers and support the quality programming you've come to expect from KEDT TV and Radio. Participants will be able to enjoy craft beer tastings from major distributors (Andrews Distributing, L&F Distributors, and Ben E. Keith Distributing) along with samples of delicious food from area restaurants. Attendees will also be able to enjoy live entertainment and a silent auction all while supporting your community-owned station, KEDT.

What safety precautions do I need to be aware of for this event, such as wearing a mask?

We are asking that if you are not eating and/or drinking to please wear a mask and social distance as appropriate. Disposable masks will be available at the door if you need one. Please be aware that by purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you understand the risks, responsibilities, and liabilities associated with attending. You are voluntarily attending at your own risk.

What safety precautions will be in place for Classic Brew?

Volunteers and staff that are serving beer and food will be wearing masks and gloves. Hand sanitizers and paper towels will be on every beer and food table. Signs will be posted with reminders to social distance and wear masks when appropriate. Disposable masks will be available at the door for attendees who need one.

What happens if the event is postponed?

In the event the Classic Brew must be postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. If you would like a refund, please contact KEDT at 361-855-2213.

Who am I supporting with my KEDT Classic Brew purchase and/or donation?

All purchases and cash donations to the Virtual Classic Brew support your community-owned station, KEDT, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All funds raised support commercial free educational programs, reaching viewers from the Coastal Bend and South Texas area. KEDT-South Texas Public Broadcasting System is an exempt organization as described in Section (c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN# 74-1616224. Your cash contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What else can I do to support KEDT?

KEDT appreciates support of all kind. A membership towards TV or FM can be purchased at www.kedt.org in support of educational programming.
