Full Title: If Architecture Is A Reflection Of Music Standing Still, Photography Is A Frozen Moment In The Composition

Inspiration for my story comes from my three most passionate forms of expression: architecture, music, and photography. I am an architect, flautist and photographer. All three share similar principles of design and creativity: rhythm, proportion, harmony, repetition, structure, and texture. And, when these principles are combined well, inspiration is the result experienced in the building, song, or photograph. Photography allows us to capture small moments throughout our life journey so we can revisit that experience over again. Here I photographed the architecture skyline of Manhattan in my recent visit to New York City, the city of my birth. I also photographed my flute positioned over a sheet of music that I enjoy playing (Mozart's Flute Concerto No.2 in D Major). And then, I photographed my own camera (yes, I have two). The combination of these three images is the composition of "My Story".
