Wake up with the birds! You and your group will join Dodge Naturalist Fellow Mark Roos on a guided birding journey through the wilderness of Dodge Nature Center. You'll learn how to look (and listen!) for the sounds of birds and how to identify their calls. Early morning is the best time for birding activity, so bagels and coffee will be provided to help energize you - but it'll be well worth the early start, because we're sure you'll be surprised to learn of the variety of birds hidden all around you.

You'll also get to see your support in action, as the Naturalist Fellow program is a unique opportunity provided by Dodge to help educate and foster the next generation of nature and wildlife educators.

And finally, welcome birds into your own yard with the included Fair Trade, artisan-made Wild Woolies felt birdhouse while reading Kenneth J. Johnson's book "85 Years Birding: Adventures and Learning".

2-hour program for up to 15 participants, binoculars will be provided, to be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date and time.
