From this centralized location you'll find it's easy to visit other area attractions. The cottage is less than an hour from Ashland, home of the Shakespeare Festival, and Jacksonville, host of the Britt Festival. You'll also be just 2 hours away from spectacular Crater Lake National Park where you can hike in the summer and snowshoe in the winter while taking in incredible scenery. Two hours in the opposite direction, you can take a drive through the Redwoods to the Oregon Coast and stroll along one of the many beaches, go fishing, whale watching, trail walking, or antique shopping. Depending on the season, you may choose to try skiing at Mt. Ashland Ski Area, spend an exciting day rafting, or chill at a local brewery or winery.
