Stacy A. Trasancos, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of St. Philip Institute of Catechesis and Evangelization in the Diocese of Tyler. Dr. Trasancos is an author of three books on faith and science, has written numerous articles for Catholic journals and magazines, and has appeared across the nation on Catholic radio and television. She has seven children and five grandchildren and makes a home with her husband, Jose, in Hideaway, TX. Dr. Stacy is also a parish member at Holy Family in Lindale, TX and frequently attends the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

For the 2021 Roses and Rosaries Gala, Dr. Trasancos will be offering a presentation on "Behold, it is I." This book will be published on October 19, 2021 and was co-written by Fr. George Elliott, rector at Sacred Heart in Nacogdoches, with the Foreword being written by Bishop Joseph E. Strickland. Together, Fr. Elliott and Dr. Transancos lead you from the burning faith of the saints to the light of the Gospels, to modern science, and right back to the Word. This book will convict and empower you to evangelize to the world that the Holy Eucharist is not a symbol but truly flesh, bone, and feet.
