It takes two years, thousands of hours, and tens of thousands of dollars to raise and train each guide dog. All Fidelco guide dogs are provided at no cost to clients, thanks to generous support from donors like you.

Hello, I'm Lincoln; maybe you know my friend, Heinrich. We make an awesome team! Could you vote for me, please? Within hours of arriving on March 8th with Laura from Fidelco, we became buddies and I would not let him out of my sight. I love to guide my best friend! Sometimes we go to town, hike in the woods, go out on the boardwalk, or visit the farm. The sheep, horses and cows, are my friends, but not cats! And rabbits scare me when they jump. Aren't they supposed to crawl or walk? ?anything but jump!

You should see me chase a ball, or shake after a bath! But when we go to a concert, the workshop, or even the office, it's my time to relax. I can just about fall asleep until my friend moves and immediately I'm there to guide him wherever he needs to go.

Before I arrived, my friend used a white cane, but I know he likes me a lot better. With the cane he had to bump into things to discover they were in his path, but I guide him carefully around garbage cans or potholes. He doesn't need to worry about them.

My best time of day is the morning - I come out of my crate wagging my tail, eager to be scratched all over. Then it's breakfast time! I love my food and make quick work of it.
