It takes two years, thousands of hours, and tens of thousands of dollars to raise and train each guide dog. All Fidelco guide dogs are provided at no cost to clients, thanks to generous support from donors like you.

Jazz is a sweet, affectionate and very social boy who will be celebrating his 1st birthday on August 24th. His favorite toys include anything that makes noise (plastic cranberry juice bottles, squeaky toys) and jumping through, then catching, the Hula Hoop as it rolls.

He has a very unique personality which can be both comical and frustrating:
• Becomes very vocal, especially if his meal is not delivered "on time" or the neighbors are more focused on doing yard work than playing with him.
• Grabs a "souvenir" from the room upstairs and dashes off before getting caught.
• Pulls the covers off the bed if you're sleeping too late.
• Constantly shoves your arm while attempting to work / type on the computer.
• Assumes that by keeping his hind legs on the floor, he is not "technically" on the couch.
• Expects an ice cube every time the freezer is opened.

Overall, Jazz is a very well behaved dog, especially when wearing his "Good Boy" collar and Fidelco vest - he's been to several restaurants, outdoor concerts and a brewery.
