The winner and three (3) friends will enjoy an exclusive evening of dinner and drinks with Neil Walker, Pittsburgh Pirates Alum and Major League Baseball Star at the Capital Grille.

Following the close of the auction, the winner will be asked to identify three (3) preferred dates for the dinner. Inspired Hearts and Hands (IH2) will then coordinate with Mr. Walker and Capital Grille to identify a mutually agreeable date for the event and all pertinent logistics. If a date beyond October is preferred, IH2 will facilitate identifying additional options.

ABOUT NEIL WALKER

Neil Walker is a former professional baseball second baseman. He played in Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2009-2015), New York Mets (2016-17), Milwaukee Brewers (2017), New York Yankees (2018), Miami Marlins (2019), and Philadelphia Phillies (2020).

Walker was drafted in the first round of the 2004 MLB Draft as a catcher by his hometown Pittsburgh Pirates. He grew up in the North Hills suburbs of Pittsburgh and graduated from Pine-Richland High School in 2004 before being drafted that June. Walker spent most of the next five years in the Minors before receiving his first Major League call-up on Sept. 1, 2009, and he made his debut as a pinch-hitter against the Reds that night. Despite being drafted as a catcher, Walker played all but seven games as a second baseman while with the Pirates, though he'd go on to be more of a utility player with the Brewers, Yankees, Marlins and Phillies over his final five seasons. Starting in August 2021, Neil Walker will be back with the Pirates only this time he'll be joining the team as a broadcaster.
