The Klondike Dog Derby returns on February 5, 2022, to Excelsior for the 2nd time in more than 40 years

This historic sled dog race consists of forty 8-dog sled teams starting on Water Street in the heart of historic Excelsior and navigating a 40-mile race along the beautiful shores of Lower Lake Minnetonka. This is your chance to have the best access, vantage points, and a true one-of-a-kind experience.

The opportunity includes:

• Reserved parking for the day in the heart of Excelsior in one of the closest spots to the start line
• A reserved table for 4 at the "Klondike Warming House at Excelsior Brewing Company" for a round of breakfast beers and pastries
• One piece of Excelsior Brewing swag for each person (4 total)

• VIP passes for tent access
• VIP shuttle service to a secret viewing location
• VIP shuttle service to the finish line for viewing the winner cross the line

To begin, watch the 40 teams start on Water Street and, when you're ready, ride via snowmobile to the secret location where beverages and a heated tent await you. You'll have prime viewing of all 40 sled-dog teams in action, and when ready, brought back to the finish line on Water Street to cheer on the winners.

For the safety of everyone, absolutely NO pets are allowed at the race or at any of the events.
