WINEMAKER NOTES

Super Barbaresco. Intense aromas of ripe plums, violets and berries lead to a full-bodied palate with chewy tannins. Long finish tastes of super ripe fruit. Lovely and powerful wine.

2016 Jones Family Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Retail value is $150. Donated by JJ Knox Wine.

CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Rated 95 points by Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media, "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely gorgeous. Floral aromatics and a rush of red fruit give the 2016 lift, freshness and brightness to play off the fruit density and structure that come so easily here. Incredibly inviting and delicious, the 2016 is simply impossible to resist. Crushed rose petal, chocolate, mint and sage add attractive savory top notes as this super-expressive Cabernet continues to open up in the glass."

WINEMAKER NOTES:

Our Estate Cabernet is a distinct reflection of our hillside, with hallmark flavors of red and black fruits, tobacco and mint. The weather and growing season impart distinctive impressions each vintage. The Estate Cabernet is approachable at release, and evolves elegantly with extended cellaring.
