Glen Hinshaw was a Wildlife Conservation Officer in the Cortez District for 3 years before ransferring to Creede, where he was the District Wildlife Manager for 22 years. While in Creed, Glen was given the Colorado Trout Unlimited Conservationist of the Year Award in 1985. "Crusaders for Wildlife" 2nd Edition is Glen's latest book. It is 402 pages with 172 pictures and illustrations chronicles the stewardship of Colorado's fish and wildlife from the early 1800s through September 2018. "Echoes From The Mountains: the Life and Adventures of a Colorado Wildlife Officer" is Glen's autobiography. This is more than the typical game warden book, but tells a story of how a big-city kid dreamed of being a Colorado Game Warden.
