A peaceful escape from the challenges of busy life, a three-night stay at Hunter Peak Ranch, located in the heart of the Shoshone National Forest, offers a great start (or finish) to a trip to Yellowstone National Park or Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Area.

The two-bedroom (sleeps 4), one bath River Cabin is just feet from the river and nestled in tall pines. A fire in the wood stove makes for a cozy night!

Three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are offered each day in a communal dining room. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, beer or drink of choice. Non-alcoholic drinks are provided. You can also cook outdoors - on your own, BYO charcoal- and enjoy an evening fire.

At the ranch (and in the surrounding area), you can go hiking, swimming or tubing, and kayak*. The spot is a photographer's dream with wildlife and beautiful flowers to capture on film. The Clarks Fork River and nearby lakes and streams are filled with Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brown and Grayling trout. This package includes a fishing guide for one day.

Cody, Wyoming is home to the world renowned Buffalo Bill Center of the West, also known as the "Smithsonian of the West". Red Lodge, Montana is also easily accessible.

Please note that there are no televisions, telephones or WIFI in the accommodations. There is no cell phone service and limited internet access onsite.

Hunter Peak Ranch has been a family-owned operation for more than seventy years.

Dates are flexible but winning bidder should contact the owner soon for best options for scheduling.

*Note that equipment is not provided and all activities are at your own risk.
