Donor dam was the $100,000 selection of Pollard Farms from the 2019 Spruce Mountain Sale and is a daughter of the highly proven $160,000 selection of Express from the record-setting 2019 sale at Spruce Mountain Ranch that was originally purchased by Spruce Mountain Ranch in 2017 with her first natural heifer calf at side for $100,000. In the 2018 Spruce Mountain Ranch Sale, half interest of that heifer calf sold for $115,000 to High Roller Angus in Texas and her first embryo transfer sold for $115,000 to Riverbend Ranch in Idaho. In the record-setting 2019 Spruce Mountain Ranch Sale, three daughters of her, including the dam of this lot, sold for an additional $162,000 to push her progeny sales total to $392,000. There were 14 sons of Rita 527 sold in the 2020 Bull Sale at Riverbend Ranch for an average of $8,893 with her top son selling for $17,000 to the Semex Alliance in Ontario for international semen sales.
