6Narrow Leaved Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium)
A narrow-leaved species of mountain mint with an upright habit reaching up to 3' tall and growing about 2' wide. Blooms are small, white clusters and while attractive, what really is noticeable is how much this plant attracts animals of all kinds. A favorite for native bee species, it is swarming with insects as it blooms in June through August. Has a minty aroma when the leaves are crushed.
