OUR MISSION
Operation Freedom Paws (OFP) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers veterans, first responders, children and other individuals with disabilities to regain their freedom to live full lives. We teach them to train a rescued dog for their specific disability and create life-saving service dog teams. Service dogs help individuals cope with everything from PTS, traumatic brain injuries and depression to seizures, changes in blood sugar levels and mobility issues. To date, we've been honored to serve 446 individuals and their families and rescue 379 dogs from uncertain futures (some clients enter our program with their own dogs if they qualify for service).

WHO WE SERVE
The film "Veterans Speak About PTSD" features veterans who are recovering from the service-related trauma with the help of their loyal, highly trained service dogs. They speak about their personal challenges with coming home and post-traumatic stress, and the healing power of the human-canine bond that helps redirect their focus and nourishes their will to live.
We want to thank documentary filmmaker Vicki Topaz for her advocacy and support of our veterans through her storytelling and our clients for sharing their stories in service to other veterans.
