About the Event:
Mohonk Preserve and Roost Studios are collaborating once again on the second annual Plein Air Art Walk and Auction, an inspirational project connecting land, art and community. Each piece of art was created at a location at or near the Mohonk Preserve Testimonial Gateway Trailhead on Saturday, May 22nd.
Twenty five participating artists were stationed along the tree-lined Pin Oak Allee on the Lenape Lane carriage road and the Ridgeview Trail, part of the Mohonk Preserve Foothills Loop of the River-to-Ridge Trail. Each artist created a painting or drawing on-site in plein air based on the theme of nature and the outdoors. Visitors had the chance to view artists working in a safe and socially distanced way while enjoying the outdoors and finding their own inspiration on the land.
The finished art has been photographed by Jeff Goldman of Roost Studios. The finished works are now available for bidding in an online auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit participating artists, Mohonk Preserve and Roost Studios.

Winning bidders will be required to pay the additional credit card/GiveSmart processing fees so that all money raised will benefit the participating non-profits.
Item pickup:
Winning bidder must arrange to pick up artwork at the Mohonk Preserve's Visitor Center after the auction end. Art may be shipped for an additional fee. Please contact Tom Leader at [email protected] to arrange for item pickup or shipping.
