Louisiana REALTORS Member Specialty License Plate

We have exciting news!

The Office of Motor Vehicles is currently in the final testing phase of a specialty license plate for the Louisiana REALTORS ! This plate will soon be available for purchase within the coming weeks by any member of Louisiana REALTORS.

But first, you will have the opportunity to snag one of the first 100 plate numbers at the upcoming LARPAC Auction!

Do you have a favorite number? Do you want the number to match the year you were a leader of the state or local association? Bid on that number and contribute to LARPAC!

BIDS START AT $100

The bidding is for reserving a desired number (1 through 100) and

the bid price does not include the price of the specialty license plate or vehicle registration itself.

Please take careful note of the specifics of this exciting auction:

• This auction is limited to the first 100 LR license plate numbers that will appear on your license plate itself. No other numbers can be assigned.
• Once the auction has closed, the required NRDS information for the winner for each LR license plate number (1 through 100) will be supplied to the OMV.
• LR will e-mail the winners of the first 100 LR license plate numbers when these plates are available for purchase. DO NOT contact OMV prior to receiving this e-mail.
• Those assigned the first one hundred LR license plate numbers will work with a specialist at OMV Headquarters to pay all necessary fees and obtain their LR license plate.
• Those assigned the first 100 LR license plate numbers also may apply online and indicate the reserved number on the application before mailing for processing.
• You will have 45 days from the day the e-mail is sent by LR to obtain your LR license plate with the assigned number (1 through 100) from OMV.
• If you do not contact OMV and pay the appropriate fees prior to the expiration of the 45 days of the e-mail from LR, your LR license plate with the assigned number (1 through 100) will go back into general circulation and you will not be guaranteed the number past that time.
• The price of specialty plates can vary slightly at local OMV offices. The bidding is for reserving a desired number (1 through 100) and the bid price does not include the price of the specialty license plate or vehicle registration itself.

Contributions are used for political purposes, are voluntary, & are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.   Any amounts indicated are merely guidelines & you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts.  Neither your membership nor your participation in Louisiana REALTORS is conditioned directly or indirectly on contributing to LARPAC.  You may refuse to contribute without reprisal.  The following is sent to the National REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S. C. 30116: (1) 30% of all contributions of $1,000 or more made at any time; & (2) 30% of each contribution less than $1,000 until LARPAC meets its Federal Allocation Goal set by RPAC. LARPAC retains the following to support state and local issues & candidates: (1) 70% of contributions that are $1,000 or more; & (2) 100% of contributions of less than $1,000 after the RPAC Federal Allocation Goal is met.
