Atlas of Breeding Birds of Indiana, by Castrale, Hopkins, and Keller.
This exceptional study details where birds where found to breed in Indiana over a six-year period, 1985 to 1990. Two pages are devoted to each bird. One page features fairly lengthy text about that bird, as well as a chart pertaining to "Regional Occurrence and Relative Abundance Information." The second page is an illustration showing breeding sites within the state, broken down by counties, with different symbols for confirmed, probable and possible sites. Hardcover, 389 pages.
